Welcome to Mind My Child.Org.UK

This busy portal site is for busy working people with babies and pre-school children that need regular child minding whilst parents are at work.

You can be a regular couple or a lone mum or dad - each situation is unique and demands individual planning which we can help with via the contacts, resources and information on the site.

We look at the various options open to you and lead you through the best choice for your situation.

Child care is expensive and is fine if you are in a job paying big money, but most of us are on a tight budget, housekeeping costs are rising, mortgage sizes and costs are huge. Many are in regular debt with credit cards and loans, family budgets are being squeezed constantly.

Gone are the days when one partner could work whilst the other stayed home to look after the house and kids. Now to survive both partners NEED to work which becomes more difficult if you have young children who need day-care whilst both parents work.

Often one half of a couple may have to work part-time and child care organisation can become erratic and unreliable.

An increasing number of SINGLE PARENTS also have child care problems when trying to work AND care for one or more children.

Not only is the cost and availability of child care a key issue but also the quality and reliability of that service. We try and ensure you are reliably informed of the good and bad points about each option so you can make the best informed choice for your situation.

Take your time to wander round the options on offer, we should have the solution for your needs, or can put you in touch with other members or organisations who can help you.

We are independent and unbiased and offer information,  and links to options which we have selected as potentially useful to you.

Please Contact Us is you have any questions or want to make more suggestions.si
